Pumpin the Walls full

The cube is like an ice box in the winter. It's like a barn with uninsulated walls. I had the exterior walls insulated using the pump in expanding foam.

It is a bit scary to see two guys make hundreds of 1 inch holes all across your wall.

Then they pump in the foam and it expands, finding any crevice to ooze out of.

Then you need to plug and mud it over and prep for another round of painting.

Insulate the 'attic'

There is about 14-18 inches between the ceiling and the flat roof...

I had the blow in insulation using the bedroom closet as the access point. Some poor guy had to crawl around up there to direct the hose.

A big truck in the drive with a long hose, and a generator pumping the the air to deliver the little snowclouds of insulating fluff.

Oh my god look at Sonia!! She looks so good!

Sonia is the sink and vanity...and Toto is the toilet.

They just got installed this week while I was away.

And the shower glass door, faucet and showerhead, and the mirror were also installed.

Looking good.

Refinished Floors

The ancient hardwood floors were refinished. This next week should be finishing the painting, moving the appliances into place, installing the outlets and light fixtures, faucets, glass shower door and wrapping it all up!
